Dear PPS Families and Staff,

Please join me for an update on the progress of the District’s 2017–2022 Strategic Plan: Expect
Great Things. Attend one of five community update sessions beginning February 22nd. As part of my commitment to community engagement, continuous improvement and transparency, each attendee will have the opportunity to receive a brief update on the Phase 1 initiatives underway through a special gallery walk led by my leadership team. Topics include: assessment, curriculum, professional learning communities, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS)/restorative practices, teacher pipeline and community schools.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our strategic plan update sessions. Now, more than ever, it is important that we all commit ourselves to the hard work that meaningful change requires, as we are all accountable for the future of our students.
